Bram has scooped temporary ponds in Europe, Africa and Australia and tries to understand the systems and see what the system can teach us about ecology and evolution in general.

Team leaders

Luc is a large branchiopod expert with a record of temporary pond research that spans several decades and a love for dormant resting eggs.

Marga is a driving force of temporary pond research in the Iberian peninsula with many projects on macro invertebrates in Doñana NP.

Bartek is a freshwater ecologist with a keen interest in large branchiopods and studying various temporary ponds such as kettle holes.

Laila is an authority on temporary wetland plants and promotes the conservation of Mediterranean temporary ponds.
